I have a couple lovely Tokai Thunderbirds, both are the early Korean builds, MUCH better quality than the later versions. The White one has had some significant mods (Gibson Pickups, Nickel Badass bridge, Hipshot Ultralite Vintage style tuners). The Burst is straight stock. Both in pristine condition. Let me know if you're interested.

That white one looks fantastic. And I'm betting it sounds better than the majority of the lefty Gibsons too.

If anyone is interested I have a "Like New" Gibson Thunderbird I purchased from a board member here. I would be happy to sell it for $1500 + Shipping. I agree the basses listed are nice but if you really want a Gibson let me know.

I have more detailed pictures, great bass, powerful sound.

You would be betting correctly, PJ. For vintage T'Bird tone, it easily smokes the newer Gibsons (not that they're not nice basses).

Thanks for all the inquiries guys! The Sunburst Tokai Bird is on hold for Wolfkeller pending completion of payment, so I think I'm going to hang onto the White Bird, at least for a little longer...

White bird,
in a golden cage,
on a winter's day,
in the rain.
White bird,
in a golden cage,
alone....

White bird must fly or she will die.
White bird must fly or she will die.
White bird must fly or she will die.
White bird must fly...

Let her go, Carmine, let her go! :) (And who else knows what Classic song these lyrics are from?)

Just to hear the call
of a nightbird singing.
(Come away)
(Come away)

Just like the white winged dove...

The band is It's A Beautiful Day.

One of my most fave songs ever. they sure don't make 'em like that anymore.
