I know. I know. It's a stretch, but I'm looking to re-build my double-neck.
The bass currently only has the neck on the right-hand side, which I'll
relocate to the bottom (left-hand) side. The original build is pictured on
the photo on the bottom, with the eight-string neck on the top.
Like Dan, I had gotten rid of the bass and then found it (on Ebay). The seller
sold the necks separately and the original luthier is a famous drunk...

It's a typical Fender neck pocket.

I do believe you could get this done at Warmoth if I'm not mistaken. Cool axe.

Yeah, I could, but it'll cost and arm and a leg new...

Hey Pete,

I am sure that you have already thought of this, but I'll put it out there anyway. What about a paddle head bass neck? If you use smaller sealed tuners along with guitar tuners, there should be enough room. There are Eden necks on Ebay at the moment that are 34" scale for $70.00.

Great idea, but I may just go with Warmoth... I can get a neck for about $300 and tuners would run another $150,
which would be a pretty nice used bass on its own... but I wanna finish this up.
