First alembic. Spoiler, élan, epic, etc...gave up on spector

So I've given up on finding a spector to use as a live/studio bass and I was recommended to alembic. One of my fathers friends used a spoiler for years with Carnivore, and some of my favorite bassists have used them too like Jason Newsted, Paulo pinto jr, Entwistle, JPJ, Clarke, etc... Do any of you have four or 5 string used alembics for sale? Nothing crazy like the only other ones I've seen used for $4000+, but yes; lets know what you got

Also, if this isn't implied enough, persuaders and distillates are very welcome

Yes he was wolf

Pete was simply an incredible dude. Very nice. He is the reason I picked up the bass.... He was lefty too! But he couldn't afford a lefty bass at the time and played righty

as you probably already know, Alembics are in the top 3 - if not the most -most expensive basses you can buy new. And buying used isn't going to save you much in the way of $$$ either

.
There is an Alembic users forum out there somewhere that has a classified section, maybe try looking there? Good luck and let us know what, if anything, you find out there.

Its pretty sweet that you knew him, I've always been a huge type o/ carnivore fan. Never got to meet him but have been to his grave 2x. I've built several tribute basses to him which I use live.

Pete was a great man. Enormous influence on me and my music and my first metal bands i loved were type o and carnivore as a younger lad

Pete was the Eason i first got into bass and I was also later influenced hugely by cliff burton, jason newsted, geezer butler, Alex Webster, etc. I could go on, haha. I did up one of my basses as a tribute to Pete. The chain strap is nice haha. Show me your tribute basses too!

it's always nice to meet a fan of petes music. He really made me the young man I am today. Might sound cheesy but he and his music taught me how to b me and be proud of my music and myself, and I'll always be grateful to have had him in my life for the time he was around.
