 Post subject: any one have a gotoh 201 laying around?

need a bridge for a project bass looking to save a little money by seeing if any one has a used one laying around would perfer chrome can make payment via paypal

I have one. Just won't sell it to you. That's because it BENT. That's right, the heavy, strong looking back bar where the strings go through, bent upwards like Rickenbacker bridges do. I had medium gauge flats on it, on a Warmoth P-bass. There are better bridges out there, a plain stamped steel Fender bridge is on that bass now, and the tone improved when I put it back on. I was really surprised that it did. The bridge, however, is a pre-CBS allthread original one. I love Gotoh stuff. This was my first disappointment with any of their products.
