Looking for a 51 Precision bass any brand just as long as it has the one single coil pick up and body style, I'm located in Nevada will pay shipping.

Sire just released the D5, although they all got scooped up quickly. If I were in the market right now, that's where I would start. They appear to be in the $500 range.

I also tried Paulo's Harley Benton '51P a year or two back and I thought it was great.

I've heard good things about Harley Benton instruments, and they offer them in sunburst and red. For $111, how could you go wrong? (Well you could, but that's not what I hear. :lol) Seems like a great modding platform:

Harley Bentons are fine!

Something like this, on the other hand, comes with a bit of risk, but might make a nice platform for modding and improving:
