Bargain Musician has those bass kits in stock if you'd like to give one a try and they are very cheap.
They could also be refinished/customized the way you like.
Pics are right handed but they have the option to select lefty on checkout.

That's wild, I'd actually consider doing this. Have you built one?

I'm building a drag car in my garage so I could handle this.

I have never bought one of these bass kits but I'm itchy about getting one, everyone who I know who have tried them so far are very happy!

Cool bass but I don't like to flip rightie's I get into the controls too much (move them by accident).
