I specifically want an AmPro Jazz Bass; not an AmSer of AmStd, and I don't want a sunburst since I already have my fretless sunburst JB. I prefer white, but I'd consider the other finishes. It needs to be in mint or near mint shape with everything stock unless there are acceptable upgrades. The neck and tuners must be stock.

I've combed Ebay and Reverb and have had no luck in getting what I want. There are quite a few sb AmPro JBs and one black one, but I'm not that interested in it.

The American Pro didn’t come in Olympic white for jazz basses. You could go through the mod shop and get what you’re looking for though. Those are basically AmPro.

Can you say when the new USA models will be released? I see that they’re going to be called American Professional 2 if what I read is accurate.

I'm thinking seriously about it.

For some reason, I thought the first couple of years they had more colors than black, sunburst, and gray. I wouldn't swear to that.

You could be thinking of the last couple years of Am.Std when they had the metallic red and blue finishes?
From launch, the Am.Pro Jazz in lefty just had the 3 colours, and the P-bass had 3 colours. 3TSB and Black were common to both, the Jazz had Sonic Grey, and the P had Oly White.
Sonic Grey is a pretty good colour, I'm going to pick one up before they're gone.

UPDATE: I've had something come up, and I won't be able to buy the JB.

However, I can afford an AmPro neck if the price is reasonable. If you guys see one, please let me know.

I have a 2017 AmPro Precision in white. I wanted to have a matching AmPro JB (and the switch the necks), because I have OCD, for real. My Strat was 3 color sunburst, so my Tele had to be the same, as well as the JB I've just had converted to a fretless. smh.

Thanks for all the responses, folks.
