Kit bass body and pickguard

This is part of a kit I bought awhile back and ended up using the other parts, on other projects.
Made from basswood (mfg. spec) and routed similar to an early 50s Precision with the exception of the
pickup which is similar to a Seymour Duncan SMB-4A type humbucker, etc.
Pickguard is included.
As new condition. 55.00 plus shipping on UPS or FedEx. determined by zip code.

51P covers
(mm4 pickup route was partially filled with basswood)
All Parts neck with Res o lites
Star System pots & jack.
waiting on warm weather to paint...

This was a very cost friendly bass build

Maybe blonde or surf green.
1970 Gulf Porsche (Le Mans) blue (just a thought)
I've had luck with acrylic enamel Duplicolor Dover White, too.

cool, i have family in the Sykesville area of MD.
Think I found a blue I might sub if I cant get a Porsche blue mixed.
Miami blue - right outta the Fender catalog.

That's bit brighter than the Porsche blue, both are nice. Fender sonic blue is pretty close to the Porsche blue. Look forward to seeing it finished!

yes it is slightly brighter.
I'd like to get the 'real deal' (color), same as McQueens car in the movie.
anyway,..waiting on the freeze to go away, ;-)
