Anyone use a POG or micro POG pedal?

I recently got one and it sounds great! Very accurate tracking. Really fun to do the 8 string bass sound too.

I've been using the original POG for about eight or nine years. I started using it when I was playing in a sort of Ben Folds meets Weezer kind of thing. All original music, three piece with piano, bass, drums. I got to step into places that bass players don't often get to go because of the "no guitar" thing. The POG was heavily employed as an eight string effect to thicken the sound along with a healthy dose of overdrive - either at the amp or via a Bass Big Muff Pi - and as an organ style effect for some heavy shots and punches. The new POG2 is great - although I think if might be missing a couple of the more esoteric features - because it allows you to save a few different settings. This would have saved me a lot of adjusting between songs.

I also used it a ton in a guitar, bass, drums three piece. Very versatile from light to heavy effect with a whole whack of combinations. I don't get to use it in the main band I'm in now because there are already three guitar players and no need for "thickening". I still play with it all the time when I'm messing around at home with my headphones on. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have over the years.

Yep, I've had it for a few years now. The tracking is superb I like it much better than the Boss units.
The upper octave can get a bit synthy if you really push it but I can live with that.
I am thinking of putting another octaver on my board so that I can have just the octave down and use the POG for the double octaves. I've been wanting to play about with a few other pedals especially the MXR version.
Decisions, decisions. :D

Basshappi I do exactly that. I'm not as crazy about the lower octave on the micropog, so I use the MXR BOD for octave down stuff, and the pog for when I want some upper octave with a little low blended in
