Re: You think vintage Fenders are expensive?
exactly, If I were to buy a Precision, I would like it to have my own wear and tear because then it'll be special you know? if i'm buying a reissue, I'd rather it not be reliced in any way.
Re: Ibanez
Oh btw, I was on their website recently, and to give everyone hope, Ibanez is resurrecting the Musician. It's as Beautiful as the 80s models, keep your fingers crossed for a lefty reissue

Re: You think vintage Fenders are expensive?
I always thought Fenders were overpriced, I do like the fact that they bring some classic models back like the 62' P Bass, but still, Fender should lower their prices all around. My Grandpa told me his 1966 P Bass cost him like 500 or something, and it's in a "custom color" (Teal Green). Maybe it'll ...
Re: My Lefty
Thank you for accepting my apology guys, I will start fresh and I do promise LEGIT pix in the near future because I got a new Digital Camera my mom gave me (her old one), plus I gotta update my facebook anyways so I'll do it all today, As for my EB0, there is good chance that you'll see it's ...
Re: Ibanez
Ok, I said I'd post pix but I'll do that later. Right now, I wanna get the review thing off my back, To sum it all up; Ibanez does it again. The SR300L is no exception to the Soundgear family staying true to the original design concept; fast neck, versatile tone, comfortable feel. I found alot of ...
Re: My Lefty
*sigh* Ok, since nobody believes me and I understand why, I will come out and say that there is no Red Ric (there I said it!). to tell everyone the truth, I was ashamed about not having a single lefty in my arsenal (until today). I was watching this site build for the longest time and I saw the pics ...
Re: My Lefty
I didn't think about that before. *sigh* oh well, I should be able to put that to use when I go to college in September. btw that's a nice Ford, that's all I'm gonna say.
Re: Ibanez
Got an update about the 300, It's arriving today. I will be going down to my grandparents house to pick it up. I have heard soundclips of it and I will tell you guys that it sounds like a combo of the P and J Basses, but it's the new one and that EQ sounds like a dream (Lows and mids of a P, punchy ...

Re: My Lefty
I do have an explanation on why I do things the way I do them. I will admit that 2 of the 3 pix are frauds, but "Redneck" is the actual Ric, It was a 13th birthday gift for me that was ordered by the custom shop, My grandfather then took it to a local Luthier to make the trussrod cover that you see ...

Re: New Toy!
Thats a really cool looking bass, reminds me of my Uncle's Steinbergers. He's got the normal black 4 string one and a 5 string in yellow that looks like your Shuker.
Re: Ibanez
Ok, got some bad news... It turns out I got an email from the store last night saying that My bass was on back order :x They said that the bass was in high demand, which i think is a load of crap because they don't really have any lefties come into the store to begin with, now I have to wait up to ...

Re: Ibanez
oh ok, i understand now, i always viewed it that way because everytime i see SRs in my books, they all look upgraded as the number goes up. that totally helps my perception, thanks Jeroen. 8-) btw, I have an SR300L on the way to my house, I will write a review of it and post some pics when i get it ...
Re: Ibanez
I actually tried a 700, It was like any other Ibanez SR you'd expect, the only twist was that it was much faster than it's predecessor (big word for me  ) the 500. the only bad thing about it was it was a little bit heavier than the 500 and 300. If i had a chance though, i would take the 700 ...
Re: Ibanez
I do understand your point about the 300, but I played and i happened to like it. but those 800s must be better than the 700?danomite64 wrote:I have three SR800's. Why do I want that 300?
Hey Jeroen, are you the guy selling the lefty Roadstar on Arni's site? I'd love to get that bass.
Re: Ibanez
Not to mention the SRX models and a few SR models
