I ordered an original L1000 in 1980 or 81 when they first came out from Sam Ash on 48th ST in NYC. Waited about 6 weeks. When it arrived at the store we opened the case and surprise the neck was fretless! G&L shipped a fretted neck to Sam Ash in about 2 weeks and they installed it at the store ...

DuckDuckGo Browser works for me on my phone as well. Just tried since I’ve already had it installed.

I'm using Opera browser with the PC and every time I close the page I'll need to sign back in.

It's a beautiful example of Sunset Orange in fact the cleanest one I've ever seen.
Took me maybe a decade to find this one. Others popped up over the years but I wasn't fast enough.
This bass just got adopted by a good friend so I'm happy to know it's got a good home.
