Re: EBAY HACKED ALERT
Here's a little more info on this. Ebay says the hack occurred two months ago and they discovered it a few days ago. Not so sure about financial info and paypal being safe. After all, it took two months to figure out they've been hacked. At the very least, member email addys are surely in hackers ...

Re: re evaluating me as a bass player/musician
Chopper, I kinda know how you feel. Frustration is something I'm very familiar with. Having to learn easy level songs then re-learning them is a frequent thing for me.

Re: How many basses do you own? Are lefties bass hoarders?
I would say I'm a bit of a hoarder... I think I have eleven at the moment, and a few guitars. I really don't consider myself a collector, it's just... If I ever sell one and regret it one day, the odds of finding the same or an identical instrument left handed again are close to zero. I had to ...

Here's a vid I stumbled on the other day. For all the electric basses and bassists I've listened to still love a stand up sound best

Re: A Brice, Yes, a Brice on ebay
I see Rondo selling on ebay a good bit. SX basses right? I'd like to find a cheap fretless sometime, just to try out. Maybe in a year or so.
I can see where a music store would become a fav hangout. Wish there was one closer.

Re: Pete's Boatload O' Basses Sale
what if I reverse the connections on the main board from the pickup boards?
Lo and behold it worked! So now the pickup blend pot at least works properly.
Excellent thinking!! Very simple solution but a hard one to come by. I would have gone crazy trying to figure that one out. That says alot ...

Re: Lefty Schecter Bass Deals @ Amazon
Good point, but having owned a Stiletto Custom, a Stiletto Studio and even an Exotic, I am biased towards Schecter: I think their basses are underrated. This one, as the others, is very enjoyable to play and sounds great through my Markbass CMD 102...

Re: Schecter Unveils Session Series Basses
Hey, I like those!
I really like the look of the Riot 4 and at approx $650 that's quite tempting.
Yeah, me too. I really like my Riot 4. It's the lightest weighing bass I've tried or owned, fast thin neck, and easy to play. Has a nice tone as well. You don't see em for sale very often. Guess it ...

The wood on this bass is really eye catching. Absolutely beautiful. At some point I'd like to try a fretless.

Re: Lefty Schecter Bass Deals @ Amazon
That price didn't last long, it's @ $449 now. I'm wondering if the lower prices were some sort of mistake by amazon and those particular basses were mistakingly placed on the blow out list by sku #. Dropping a price then coming back and making more drops, each day, kinda makes me think so ...

Re: Lefty Schecter Bass Deals @ Amazon
Congrats, I know you will be very happy with it.
A couple of years ago I went to a multi-band concert. The opening act was Edgar Winter (He and his band absolutely killed !). His bassplayer was using a Schecter Studio and sounded fantastic!
Thanks. I'm sure I'll be happy as well. I have several ...
