Question about shipping for fellow Canucks
Sorry if this question as be asked before.
I'm wonder what other Canadians think is the best way to ship a bass - either from or to Canada? I'm mostly interested in your experiences shipping between USA and Canada. I have found UPS the most expensive when it comes to custom clearance fees.

Re: Fender Jazz CIJ
I wondered about the price at first. But given that the bass is in Poland and that the body is ash, not basswood, and that the neck is bound, blocked and maple, it may not be unreasonable. Time will tell.

This one looks more like Butterscotch than off white. Really like the the look with the maple neck.

Re: Pictures of my Basses
Addison - I'm not sure I would class it as a "decent" bass anymore. I got the bass when I was very young and very stupid. If I'd taken proper care of it over the years it probably would be a decent player but these days it has neck issues and is missing some of the original parts (tuners, neck ...

bhunt1 - thanks for the info. Very helpful. I think coming up with a correct valuation for the eagle will be one of the hard things.

Re: Pictures of my Basses
My crystal ball suggests a possible bidding war in the near future :)
Seriously though, as soon as I get a little more comfortable with the idea of selling a bass over the internet, I'll post some more detailed pictures of the Eagle.
Maybe you guys can point me to some threads discussing how to ...

Re: Pictures of my Basses
Thanks everyone!
I've had the 73 Jazz since 1975 - it was my first real bass.
fivebass52 - I got the 79 Eagle in 1988 - bought it from Long and McQuades in Toronto. It was my main player until I got the Carvin B50 a few years ago.
Sadly, neither of the first two get much use these days. The 73 ...

Re: Please say hello
Greetings lefties,
Finally made the decision to join. I've been a long time lurker - guess I'm more of a listener than a talker or in the case of forums reader than a writer. I'll try to upload some pictures of my leftie basses today.
Thank you to the administrators and regular contributors for ...
