If anyone knows of one for sale, please let me know. My Gibson Thunderbird is by far my #1, but I've lusted after the Jaguars for a long time. They never seem to come up for sale.
Thanks.

Re: Vintage BC Rich Basses
Longish time since I posted about getting the 1976, but here it is. It's a wonderful bass, but my 2013 Gibson Thunderbird is still my #1. I've only made two modifications to it, both of which are reversible. Thumb rest at the bridge pickup which uses the stock pickup ring screw holes, and Schaller ...

Re: Vintage BC Rich Basses
I know this is an old thread, but did this book come out? The planets aligned for me and I bought that 1976 Eagle that's been seen for sale for a while. Really excited to get it and play with it.

Re: White Davidson Flying V Bass
I thought they were around $300 new, but maybe I'm mistaken and I've priced it too high. Suggestions?

Re: New Eastwood Flying V Bass
Wow, cool. Are Eastwood good quality? I have a Davison which is a complete piece of crap, but it was just so cheap and cheesy I had to have it.
Body is basswood, which is really light, so this could be really light overall, but extremely neck-heavy.

I was out on Oahu a couple of years ago. It was great.

Re: Danelectro DC Bass - $250
Thanks, guys. It's a really cool bass. I wish I had the room to keep all I have, but all I ever play are my Thunderbird and the Carvin. I'll probably end up selling my Jazz Bass as well.

Danelectro DC Bass - $250
I'm selling my Korean Danelectro DC Bass. It's in great overall condition. Issues listed in the craigslist ad I put up. I really don't want to ship it.

Re: Danelectro DC Bass value?
Thanks, all. I swear I replied to this, but don't see it. I really don't want to have to ship this, so I'll try locally for what I can get. I'll try putting it in the classifieds here.

I have too many basses now and am going to sell my black lefty DC Bass. Anyone know what these are worth these days? It's in great condition.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: GIBSON is doing a FULL run of Leftys in '13
Congratulations on the SG! I was also impressed about the weight on my Thunderbird. I expected them to be heavy, but 8.5 lbs. is amazing. Also impressed about the lack of claimed muddiness. I have none. I like the sound. I guess it does indeed come down the amp and such that you play through.

I emailed Gibson customer service, and they simply said, "They have not been discontinued." For what that's worth.

Re: GIBSON is doing a FULL run of Leftys in '13
It's quite possible Gibson projected that the majority of the lefties who wanted one of their basses would have bought them by now. If lefty players are about 3% of the marketplace combined with the fact that many of these players wouldn't be able to buy such upscale instruments new anyway, it ...

Re: GIBSON is doing a FULL run of Leftys in '13
What I found weird about all of this is that these lefties sold like gangbusters, at least based on what Jimmy said at Southpaw. You would think that they would do one more run of these, and that it would make business sense, but it does not seem to be going that way. Oh well.
