Just my opinion, but I dont like the new look. I've tried in FireFox and Chrome and the posts arent separated very well so they kind of run together and it's difficult to distinguish between where one stops and the next post starts.

Not only color styles, but fretboard woods... I very badly desire a P-bass with a maple fretboard (a la Roger Waters P-bass) but all we ever get are rosewood. bleh.

Here's a dumb question. I don't own a vintage Fender (though I hope I will eventually), but I do own a newer (12 year old) Made In Mexico Fender. Does Fender date stamp those as well, or was this something that was only done in the "good ole days"? I'd like to find out but I'm too scared to take the ...

He's got a myspace site (google: mark white bassist) with some pretty cool videos... One of them is called 'Chicken Finger Funk' that is a nice little funky line. Most impressive.

I just played a Lefty Fender America P-bass in Hong Kong that was a sunburst... and my Lefty MIM Fender J-bass is a kind of dark cherry or burgundy color... so they are out there, just few and far between .

Well, since nobody has replied to this, I guess I will ;). I found a shop in Kowloon called Tom Lee Music. They have a number of shops in the area, but the only one that has Lefty basses is the one in Tsimshatsui, Kowloon... the shop is huge, with lots of basses and guitars, mostly right handed ...

Hey all... I'm in Hong Kong on business for the next week and have been on the hunt for a music store. Does anyone out there know of any shops that may have Lefty basses? I always like to try and play something when I'm in a foreign country... it's a personal goal of mine :D .

There's no way I'd pay $800 for that bass... dont get me wrong though, they can sound great and play great. I think you just gotta get lucky though.. Mmmmmm, love the look of those Aerodynes... I have no idea how they play, or sound, but I like the look of them... especially the blue one. I didnt think they were made in Lefty though... or did Fender only do that in Japan?

For some reason, I really like the looks of that bass... and it has character. I wish I could afford it. Since I know many of you are far more experienced than I when it comes to the value of a bass, anyone care to comment on what they think it's worth and if $950 is a good price? just curious

I love that SG style. I long for the day that Gibson decides to make some Lefty basses... I'd rather buy one than build my own via Warmoth.
